Microsoft has announced that users can now prepare their data for AI directly in the Power BI Service, eliminating the need to switch to Power BI Desktop. This update allows for easier management of semantic models and introduces new model types, including Direct Lake models.
Starting this week, features available in Power BI Desktop are now accessible in the Power BI Service. Users can:
