Microsoft Power BI has been recognized as a leader in the Forrester Wave™: Business Intelligence Platforms for Q2 2025. The platform achieved the highest score among vendors in the generative AI functionality category and received the top score in 17 other criteria. Forrester highlighted Microsoft’s ongoing investment in innovation and strong partner ecosystem, which contribute to extensive platform adoption, and noted that Power BI effectively meets nearly all enterprise business intelligence needs.
The recent Microsoft Fabric Community Conference in Las Vegas featured over 6,000 data enthusiasts, who witnessed the unveiling of new Power BI features, including Direct Lake semantic models, data point annotations for PowerPoint, migration tools for Azure Analysis Services, and one-click summaries from Copilot in Microsoft Teams.
