Starting with the next update of the Power BI Mobile app, it will no longer be able to connect to Report Server using the OAuth protocol via Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) configured on Windows Server 2016. This change is due to an update in the authentication library used by the mobile app. However, connections through AD FS 2019 or newer will still be supported. The new requirement will take effect from the following app versions: Android version 21241512 and iOS version 33.9 and later. It’s important to note that this change does not affect Microsoft’s support for AD FS on Windows Server 2016; it only impacts the Power BI Mobile app’s connectivity.
